If you’re experiencing:
-
changes in hormones, family structure, lack of support, financial stress and many other factors can cause pre/post-natal depression
-
changes in hormones, life situation, the responsibility of being a parent and societal pressures to be a perfect mother can lead to perinatal anxiety and excessive worry
-
juggling priorities, managing multiple demands, needs and people can cause overwhelm, stress and exhaustion
-
many women experience self-esteem issues in pregnancy and postpartum with shifts in body image, confidence and self-worth
-
increased demands, financial pressure and changes in family structure and dynamics can cause relational challenges, bring up old issues or lead to unhelpful patterns in relating
-
the process of matrescence (becoming a mother) can involve grief, loss of identity and difficulty in adjusting to the new role and responsibilities
I can support you to:
-
I will work with you to cultivate a stronger connection to self so you are able to trust your intuition and gain confidence in your self
-
We can work together to identify the main stressors in your life, the thoughts and feelings associated with them and how to use tools and strategies for coping better
-
The process of matrescence (becoming a mother) is complex and often brings up early childhood experiences, unresolved traumas, and your own experiences of being parented. There are also significant life changes or events that may have occurred through pregnancy, birth and the post-natal period.
-
Through identifying your patterns in behaviour and communication, I can support you to communicate more effectively and set healthy boundaries in your relationships.
-
Emotions are useful pointers to your needs, so exploring how you feel can be incredibly powerful in identifying what you need to change in order to feel better
-
By increasing your self-awareness and engaging in alternative ways of thinking and feeling, we aim to develop your self-compassion and ability to honour your needs, leading to a more fulfilling life.

This is how I can help you…
